Printronix Inc., an Irvine-based manufacturer of computer printers, reported a loss of $607,000 for its first quarter ended June 30, contrasted with net income of $1.4 million for the same period in 1988. Sales declined 18% to $29.3 million from $35.5 million. The company said substantially lower European orders caused sales to drop.
