Hawaiian Air On the Block: HAL Inc., the parent of Hawaiian Airlines, has put itself up for sale and has hired Citicorp of New York to help it find a buyer. The Honolulu-based airline flies between Hawaii and five West Coast points--Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle and Las Vegas--as well as between Hawaii and Australia. The troubled airline said it expects to lose $13.3 million for the first six months of this year.
