El Toro : Maneuvers to Extend Air Station Jet Noise
Military exercises involving jet aircraft this week will increase noise levels around the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station, base officials said.
The biggest difference, they said, will be that the hours of operation will be extended.
Flights will occur between 8 a.m. today and 1 a.m. Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. both Thursday and Friday, according to Marine public information officers.
Jets from the base will be flying support for exercises involving the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, officials said.
