Pat Engfer has been named general manager...

Pat Engfer has been named general manager for the Hyatt Newporter, a 26-acre hotel recently acquired by Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. Engfer has been with Hyatt Hotels for 12 years and recently was general manager at the Hyatt Edgewater Hotel. She will direct daily operations of the 410-room resort. She replaces Mack McNeil, who became general manager of the Wyndham Hotel in Palm Springs. . . . Susan G. Winters has been named marketing director for the 550-room Irvine Hilton and Towers. Most recently, she was vice president of marketing for the Metro Cos. Inc., a Dallas-based hotel operator.
