Vegas Panel Wants to Pull Plug on Video Poker Firm
Gaming Control Board agents have sealed about 1,000 video poker machines in dozens of Las Vegas bars and stores after alleging the company that operates the machines was cheating.
Gaming board sources reported the machines were programmed so players could not hit a royal flush.
The games are owned by American Coin Machine Co.
The board is expected to ask the Nevada Gaming Commission for an emergency order to suspend American Coin’s license.
The Las Vegas-based company operates gaming devices in 93 locations. It also manufactures and distributes gaming devices.
The control board would not say where the sealed machines were located.
