THE SIDELINES : Dynasty, 1988 Medal Winner, Dies

TORONTO — Dynasty, winner of an equestrian bronze medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, died over the weekend from complications of colic surgery.
The 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding, with rider Cindy Ishoy of Hamilton, Ontario, led the Canadians to a third-place finish in the dressage event at Seoul.
Dynasty and Ishoy had placed second in individual competition at the 1988 World Cup of Dressage before the Olympic Games.
