$75 Million in Drugs Seized During Raids
Police and federal agents investigating a network distributing cocaine in southeastern Los Angeles County seized more than 400 pounds of the drug worth more than $75 million at a Cudahy house early Friday.
Three suspects were arrested, two at the Cudahy house in the 5100 block of Clara Street and a third at a house in the 14500 block of Pontlavoy Avenue in Norwalk, Huntington Park Police Lt. Paul Catani said.
Officers also found three 9-millimeter automatic pistols at the Norwalk house. Both houses were searched about 4:45 a.m.
None of the suspects were named. The operation was a joint effort by police from Huntington Park, Ontario and Riverside, and agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration.
