Guns Don’t Commit Suicide, People Do
The deaths of Donnie Moore and Ricky Berry were indeed tragedies, but for Lisa Larson of Manhattan Beach (Viewpoint, Aug. 19) to use this emotional issue to voice her opinion about gun control is a travesty.
It is no more difficult to take one’s own life by using a knife, starting a car, swallowing some pills, stepping off a building or turning on one’s oven.
Suicide isn’t about guns, it’s about people.
