CS Long Beach Plays Host to Northridge
Cal State Long Beach will open its football season with a nonconference game against Cal State Northridge today at noon at Veterans Stadium in Long Beach.
Long Beach was 3-9 last season, while Northridge, a Division II team, was 6-5.
Paul Oates is the new quarterback for the 49ers. For the last three seasons, he backed up Jeff Graham, the school’s all-time leading passer.
