The State : Quake Rattles Wine Country
A short, sharp earthquake jolted the wine country about 65 miles north of San Francisco on Sunday but caused no damage or injuries, authorities said. The temblor, which occurred at 8:24 a.m., measured 3.2 in intensity and was centered seven miles east of Cloverdale and 10 miles north of Healdsburg, according to the the National Geological Survey in Menlo Park. It occurred in the geothermal fields known as The Geysers. Dozens of Sonoma County residents called local authorities to report the quake.
