P.M. BRIEFING : Tylan Sets Vote on Merger Pact

Tylan Corp. of Torrance said today that it has set Oct. 3 as the date for a special shareholder meeting to vote on the merger agreement with Vacuum General Inc. Tylan said it would become a wholly owned subsidiary of Vacuum General, and Tylan shareholders would receive $4.25 per share. Tylan’s board has unanimously approved the plan.
