Norwalk : Sheriff Seeks Help in Search for Two in Beating Death
Sheriff’s investigators are asking for the public’s help in tracking down two suspects in the recent beating death of a Norwalk man.
Waheed Khalie, 30, was attacked in front of his home on the 14300 block of Flallon Avenue about 3 a.m. on Aug. 19, Lt. Gil Leslie said this week.
Leslie said witnesses saw two men beat Khalie, who died four days later of injuries sustained during the attack. The witnesses described the attackers as Latino men in their early 20s, but provided few other details, Leslie said.
Investigators do not know what motivated the attack, he said.
The Sheriff’s Department requests that anyone with information about the attack call Sgt. Robert Perry at (213) 974-4341.
