The Haunting of Maurella (New Horizons). Shooting in L.A. An Edgar Allan Poe thriller telling of Maurella, a beautiful young maiden who is incessantly dogged by the malevolent spirit of her mother who was torched at the stake as a witch 17 years earlier. The Law at Randada (Phoenix). Shooting in Old Tucson, Ariz. Glenn Ford returns to the screen in this adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s novel set in 1881. Ford’s the sheriff of all of Arizona and soon becomes the thorn in the side of villains who’ve unjustly hung two Mexicans. Producer/director/screenwriter Chris McIntyre.
