Audiotronics Posts Loss of $657,000 in 4th Quarter
Audiotronics, a North Hollywood producer of audiovisual equipment, reported a $657,000 loss for its fiscal fourth quarter that ended June 30, contrasted with a $798,000 loss a year earlier.
The company, whose fourth-quarter sales climbed to $1.77 million from $1.15 million, blamed the latest loss partly on delays in its introduction of a new video projector. Initial shipments were to have started in early summer but now will occur this month or in October, Audiotronics said.
For its full fiscal year, Audiotronics lost $1.53 million, compared with a loss of $1.59 million the previous year. Its annual sales rose to $6.15 million from $5.17 million.
