Nationwide Health Properties Inc. in Pasadena announced that R. Bruce Andrews has been elected president and chief executive. Andrews, 49, has more than 20 years experience in the health-care finance field, including being a director, chief financial officer and chief operating officer of American Medical International. He now is a director of two health-care companies and is chairman of Armstrong Kitchens.
He succeeds Milton J. Brock Jr., 74, as president and chief executive. Brock will replace Sam A. Brooks Jr. as chairman, but Brooks will continue as a director.
Nationwide Health Properties is a real estate investment trust owning 100 health-care facilities in 23 states.
