‘Peanuts’
Have you taken leave of your senses? New York Harbor without the Statue of Liberty? The Golden Gate without the bridge? The White House without Millie? How dare you relegate “Peanuts” to the hoi polloi of comics and astrology in the View Section?
You must not read your Part I carefully, otherwise you’d know that “Peanuts” was there for good reason: to preserve our sanity in the weighty affairs of the world, scandals, chicanery and fraud, to brighten gloomy days.
“Peanuts” is life itself, an institution. Repent while there is time. Cut your losses. Return “Peanuts” to its hallowed place and get the heck out of Snoopy’s doghouse!
