Jack Kinneer; Founder of Polynesian Ensemble

Jack Kinneer, 39, founder and director of the Otea Polynesian Folk Ensemble, a group that had toured Southern California for about 15 years. A dancer, he also was a featured performer with the Aman folk dancers. He lived in Tahiti as a young man and there developed an interest in Polynesian dance. On Sept. 1 in Northridge as a result of a car accident.
