B of A Gives $1.5-Million to UC Berkeley: The University of California at Berkeley business school will receive a $1.5-million grant from the BankAmerica Foundation, university and bank officials announced. The corporate donation, the largest ever made to the 90-year-old Walter A. Haas School, is for construction costs connected to a $40-million new home planned for the business school.
