Spanish Crown Prince Leaves for U.S., Canada

MADRID — Spain’s Crown Prince Felipe left for Canada and the United States today on his first official visit abroad, planned to include a meeting with President Bush, a royal palace spokesman said. Prince Felipe de Borbon, 21-year-old son of King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia, will visit Montreal and Toronto before traveling to Santa Fe, N.M., and Houston andWashington.
