Longtime KNBC-TV news anchor Kelly Lange and writer-producer Gail Parent will be teamed by Tribune Entertainment for a pilot for a syndicated talk show. Sheldon Cooper, Tribune Entertainment president, said Wednesday that pairing Lange and Parent would move the company in another direction “to protect our position in daytime programming.” The company already has Geraldo Rivera and Joan Rivers on the air.
