Construction has begun on the $30-million Imperial Center East, a 224,000-square-foot community shopping center in Brea. The project, situated on 19 acres at the southwest corner of Imperial Highway and Kraemer Boulevard, is a development of Josephson Properties of Century City.
Major tenants will include Lucky Stores, T.J. Maxx and C&R; Clothiers, according to a release by the general contractor, Lyle Parks Jr. of Anaheim.
The Orange County contractor has also started construction on the $25-million expansion and refurbishment of Visalia Mall, an enclosed regional shopping center that includes J.C. Penney and Gottschalk’s department store among its 40 tenants.
