Moorpark 55, Capistrano Valley Christian 0--Tony Upshaw scored four touchdowns and rushed for 109 yards in eight carries to lead Moorpark at home.

Upshaw, who has scored nine touchdowns in the last two games, caught a 16-yard pass from quarterback Robert Hernandez in the first quarter to start the scoring binge. Upshaw added touchdown runs of five, one, and 59 yards.

Moorpark (3-0) has equaled its best start since the 1985 season and has outscored its opponents, 113-8.

Moorpark’s defense held Capistrano Valley (0-2) to 60 yards and forced four fumbles, all of which were converted into touchdowns.

Hernandez took the second-half kickoff 85 yards for a score.
