Seymour’s Decision to Turn Pro-Choice
In the Sunday edition (Sept. 17), your editorial page (Part V, Page 4) has an editorial captioned “22 Cowardly Acts.” It names, among others, Sen. John Seymour (R-Anaheim), who allegedly voted under pressure from the National Rifle Assn. on gun-related legislation.
In the same Sunday edition (on Page 8 in Part II) you ran an editorial headed “Seymour Shows Grit,” praising him for reversing his stance on abortion.
I’m confused. Is Seymour a coward or is he a man of grit?
