Calm Home Savings Robber Hands Teller Note, Walks Out With Cash
Police are searching for a man who calmly handed a teller a note demanding money, then casually walked out of Home Savings of America in Fullerton with an undetermined amount of money Saturday morning.
The apparently unarmed robber demanded the money about 11:20 a.m. at the branch at 1107 S. Harbor Blvd., Fullerton Police Sgt. Ron Gillett said.
A handful of customers in the savings and loan at the time did not know a robbery had taken place, Gillett said.
Employees said they did not see whether the man fled by foot or by car.
