Man Beaten to Death in Sepulveda Home
Police are searching for the killer of a 35-year-old Sepulveda man who was found beaten to death in his house Sunday morning, authorities said.
The victim’s body was discovered by his roommate about 10:30 a.m. on the floor of a house in the 15900 block of Parthenia Street, Los Angeles Police Officer John Lafko said. The man, who was not identified pending notification of relatives, appeared to have been beaten in the upper body, Lafko said.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death, he said.
Although several items were reported missing, including the victim’s black 1988 Mercury Sable, there was no sign of forced entry, Lafko said.
