Miami Dolphins linebacker Mark Brown, who expressed bitterness toward management when he ended a two-month holdout Tuesday, was suspended without pay by Coach Don Shula.
Shula didn’t say how long the suspension will last. Under National Football League rules, Brown could be suspended for up to four games.
Brown, 28, this week signed a one-year, $350,000 contract. He complained that team officials had refused to acknowledge his past contributions or compromise in negotiations.
