Ingersoll May Launch More Newspapers: Newspaper publishing group Ingersoll Publications Co., which last week began publishing a new daily newspaper in St. Louis, may open papers in 10 other U.S. cities if its St. Louis venture succeeds, Crain’s Cleveland Business magazine reported. Robert Jelenic, president of the St. Louis Sun and senior vice president of Ingersoll Publications Co., said in an interview with Crain’s that two Ohio cities, Cleveland and Columbus, are possible expansion sites. Other cities in which Jelenic said a second newspaper could be started if the Sun succeeds are Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Buffalo, Washington and Orlando.
