Lake Lovers
As a direct result of a tip from Jerry Hulse’s Travel Tips (Feb. 19), my wife and I took a six-day tour of the English Lake District during July. The tour was an absolute delight for it made available portions of the Lake District that would be inaccessible to the casual traveler. Accommodations were first-class, the food was superb, the price was reasonable ($1,125 per person), the group was small and the daily tours were interesting, varied and well-organized.
