Forty paintings by jazz great Miles Davis and 20 paintings by rocker John Mellencamp will go on display this weekend at Triangle Galleries in Beverly Hills. The monthlong exhibition marks the first public showing of Mellencamp’s art work. Kicking off the exhibition will be two invitation-only, $100-per-person, opening-night events: a Saturday benefit for Harbor Interfaith Shelter and a Sunday benefit for the Greater Los Angeles Partnership for the Homeless. The show opens to the public Monday.
