HOTELS / TOURISM : Radisson Hotel Promotes Computerized Desk Service, Other Special Amenities
The Radisson Plaza Hotel in Irvine won’t be opening its doors until November, but it’s never too early to start promoting.
So the Radisson already has started touting two customer services--special amenities for traveling businesswomen and completely automated front desk operations.
For women travelers, the hotel will have a policy of not announcing the patron’s name and room number aloud when they register. The Radisson also will give priority to assigning businesswomen rooms near elevators as another safety precaution, said Aref Haffar, general manager.
The 300-room hotel also will have a computer software system that will offer immediate reservation confirmations, quick check-ins and check-outs, and billing.
The hotel, near John Wayne Airport, was formerly known as the Registry Hotel.
