Westchester running backs Tim Holliday and Walter Grissam each rushed for more than 100 yards and combined for four touchdowns to help the Comets beat Hamilton, 30-12, for their fourth consecutive win.
Serra running back Dennis Gerard rushed for 181 yards and four touchdowns to lead the unbeaten Cavaliers over St. Bernard, 46-0, and increase his South Bay-leading TD total to 15.
Carson defensive back Clayvand Thomas returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown in a 40-6 win over Gardena to tie a school single-season record with his third defensive TD in two games.

Narbonne’s football team has lost two straight games and been outscored, 95-16, since ending a 23-game losing streak Sept. 29 with a 23-20 win over L.A. Wilson. The Gauchos were hammered by Crenshaw, 53-6, last week.
Torrance has suffered four consecutive football losses by a total of 14 points, and last week blew a 21-10 lead to Palos Verdes, which pulled out a 23-20 win on a touchdown pass with nine seconds left.
The city of Inglewood is still looking for its first prep football win. Morningside fell to 0-6 with a 14-6 loss to West Torrance and Inglewood fell to 0-5 with a 44-8 defeat to Rolling Hills.
St. Bernard netted minus-nine yards rushing in dropping its Camino Real League football opener to Serra, 46-0. St. Bernard gave up 10 sacks and was intercepted four times.
