Fog Halts Italian Flights

MILAN, Italy — Thick fog enveloped central and northern Italy for a sixth straight day Friday, forcing the cancellation of dozens of flights and temporarily closing airports at Milan, Venice, Pisa, Trieste, Rimini and Ancona. Forty flights were canceled at Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci airport.
