Village Christian 46, Maranatha 6--Quarterback Mark Vail ran for two touchdowns, passed for two more, blocked a punt and intercepted two passes to lead the Crusaders at Kennedy High.
Vail, who completed seven of 18 passes for 133 yards, connected on touchdown passes of 16 and 14 yards to Matt Bates. The Crusaders (5-3, 2-1) outgained Maranatha, 301-72.
