Elderly Woman Killed When Car Hits Truck
An elderly woman was killed Wednesday when her car crashed into a trash truck at a busy Fullerton intersection.
Louise Maxine Bartoletti, of Fullerton, was driving her Cadillac east on Malvern Avenue. She struck the truck, which was making a left turn on to Malvern from West Gilbert Street, Fullerton Police Sgt. Steve Matson said.
Parademics took the woman to St. Jude Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in Fullerton, where she was pronounced dead. The truck driver was unhurt.
Fullerton police have not determined which driver failed to yield the right of way, Matson said.
