PAYBACK: Most people thought the movie “A Fish Called Wanda” was hilarious. . . . Not amused was the Orange County chapter of the National Stuttering Project which picketed MGM last March for what it said was a derisive depiction of stutterers. . . . Now, MGM/UA has given $2,500 to the project, which has issued guidelines to Hollywood for portraying stutterers. . . . Project spokesman Ira Zimmerman of San Juan Capistrano said the gift came at a good time: “It arrived when we had $11 in our bank account.”
