Trans World Airlines: The airline company reported a third-quarter profit of $60.7 million, down sharply from the $141-million profit of a year ago. Revenue was unchanged at $1.3 billion. The Mt. Kisko, N.Y., firm blamed the profit decline in part on the “snapback” of concessions previously granted by the machinists union.
