Chatsworth 20, Kennedy 7--In a game dominated by defense and rushing, host Chatsworth was better at both. Chatsworth (3-4-1, 2-4) rushed for a total of 229 yards, including 94 for Rayna Stewart in two carries, and held Kennedy (3-6, 2-4) to 203 total yards.

Kenya Smith also added 83 yards in 11 carries and a 56-yard touchdown for Chatsworth. Late in the game, Stewart dashed 82 yards for a touchdown on a third-and-12 draw play.

The bulk of Kennedy’s offense was provided by Ontiwaun Carter, who rushed for 99 yards in 29 carries. Kennedy quarterback Tony Vazquez completed six of 21 passes for 72 yards, with an interception. He threw a 12-yard touchdown to Ryan McGrath with less than two minutes remaining.
