SHORT TAKES : Fur Protest Going to 5th Avenue

Television game show host Bob Barker kicks off the Christmas gift-buying season by taking his animal rights crusade to New York’s swank 5th Avenue.
Barker said Monday he will lead a Nov. 24 demonstration sponsored by Trans-Species Unlimited to publicize the group’s objections to killing animals for use by the fur industry.
