Food Bank Drive Raises Almost $400,000: KLOS-FM (95.5) raised more than $397,497 last weekend in its fourth annual Veterans Food Bank Drive that will help feed veterans and their families, the unemployed, abused women and children and the elderly, and the working poor. The total is more than double the $156,000 raised last year. This year, 15% of the money collected will go to Bay Area food banks to help replenish emergency food services that were depleted after the Oct. 17 earthquake. KLOS also plans to donate $20 worth of food for every dollar donated. The station is continuing to accept donations.
