Associated Press
JERUSALEM — A tourist bus on a foggy Golan Heights highway apparently swerved to avoid a car and overturned into a ravine Saturday, killing a West German woman and injuring 50 other people aboard, police said.
Druze Muslim villagers, Jewish settlers, military doctors and emergency medical service workers from the nearby town of Kiryat Shemona helped in the rescue operations.
Those hurt included 48 tourists from West Germany, an Israeli guide for the group and the driver, an Arab from East Jerusalem, police said.
