Alpharel’s Losses Grow, Quarterly Revenues Drop
Alpharel Inc., the Camarillo maker of computer data storage devices, reported that its loss for the quarter that ended Sept. 30 increased to $2.4 million from $2.2 million a year ago. Alpharel said its total revenues declined 40% for the period to $1 million from $1.7 million last year.
For the nine-month period, Alpharel lost $7 million compared to $8.5 million a year before. The company’s revenues increased 9% to $3.4 million from $3.1 million in the year-earlier period.
