NATION IN BRIEF : UTAH : Cold Fusion Project Gets New Director

Hugo Rossi, director of the National Cold Fusion Institute in Salt Lake City, has resigned and been replaced by James J. Brophy, a University of Utah vice president. The university’s controversial cold fusion experiments have struggled for acceptance ever since B. Stanley Pons and Martin Fleischmann announced they had produced the process last March 23. But Brophy said the change in administration was routine.
