California IN BRIEF : FRESNO : More Molestations Linked to Suspect
Police have linked two more cases of girls being molested by a stranger to a man they believe has struck as many as six times in the last year, officers said. The most recent case occurred Sunday afternoon when 6- and 7-year-old sisters were playing in their front yard and were “touched inappropriately” by a stranger, said Officer Veronica Damon. The same man is believed to have molested four other children since November, 1988, Damon said. The suspect is described as a slender Caucasian male, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 25 to 30 years old, with brown hair to his collar and acne on his face and arms. In Sunday’s attack, he told the children his name was Jeff, police said.
