Golden West’s Watkins, Saddleback’s Drossos Will Attend Missouri
Derrick Watkins of Golden West College and Chris Drossos of Saddleback have signed national letters of intent to attend the University of Missouri, school officials announced Wednesday.
Watkins, a 6-foot-5, 260-pound tackle from Marina High School, was an All-Mission Conference Central Division selection. He had 93 tackles and 10 sacks.
Drossos, a 6-2, 235-pound linebacker, played high school football in Indiana and attended Purdue as a freshman in 1988.
Wednesday was the first day community college players could sign letters of intent. High school seniors can’t sign until Feb. 14.
