LOCAL : Valley Woman Dies in Car Crash
A San Fernando Valley woman was killed while returning home from Las Vegas when the car she and her husband were in went out of control and rolled, the Nevada Highway Patrol reported today.
Marialaina Alley, 30, of Sun Valley was ejected from the car in the accident, which occurred at 5:30 p.m. Monday on Interstate 15, about 10 miles from the California border, NHP spokeswoman Mary Coyne said. Her husband, LeRoy Alley, 43, who was driving the auto, suffered serious injuries and was being treated at University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Coyne said the Alleys’ car drifted off the roadway for an unknown reason, overturned and rolled several times.
