Bridgford Foods Reports Record Profits
Bridgford Foods Corp. of Anaheim reported record sales and net income for its 1989 fiscal year.
Net income increased 32% for the year ended Nov. 3, to $3.5 million from $2.7 million for fiscal 1988. Sales rose 21%, to $72.6 million from $60.2 million.
For the fourth quarter, net income jumped 36%, to $1.1 million from $830,000 for the like period the year before. Sales rose 25%, to $20.6 million from $16.5 million.
Bridgford produces frozen bread dough, microwaveable sandwiches, dry sausages, processed meats and other convenience food products.
