Man Tells Cabbie to Wait While He Robs Bank
Associated Press
ALBANY, N.Y. — A fare told a cabbie to wait for him when he was dropped off at First American Bank, saying he was just going to rob it and be right out.
A detective said police alerted by the cabbie arrived moments after a man took $10,000 on Friday.
Although the robber had already fled, the crime was recorded by bank security cameras. Albany detectives and FBI agents said they were seeking Arthur J. DeLorenzo, 29, of Schenectady, for questioning.
