Mike McGee, USC athletic director, and Jim Plunkett, retired Raider quarterback, were two of the 11 former All-Americans named to the College Football Hall of Fame by the National Football Foundation.

McGee was one of Duke’s great linemen before playing three seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals of the NFL. Plunkett was the 1970 Heisman Trophy winner as Stanford’s quarterback.

The others named: Don Bossler, Miami; Ron Burton, Northwestern; Earl Campbell, Texas; Jack Cloud, William and Mary; Jack Ham, Penn State; Leroy Keyes, Purdue; Vaughn Mancha, Alabama; Max Starcevich, Washington; John Tavener, Indiana, and Coach Ray Graves, Florida.
