Linemates Shayne Corson and Stephane Richer scored less than a minute apart in the third period Thursday night at Boston and the Montreal Canadiens ended the Bruins’ unbeaten streak at seven games with a 4-2 victory.

The Bruins, threatening to make a runaway of the Adams Division, had won four in a row and went into the final period of a tough defensive struggle with a 2-1 lead.

Russ Courtnall brought the Canadiens, who trail the Bruins by seven points, even with his 15th goal at 2:12.

Corson broke the tie with No. 23 at 16:16 and Richer put the game out of reach with his 31st at 17:12.

Cam Neely scored both Boston goals and has 37.

Philadelphia 2, Hartford 1--Tim Kerr and Ilkka Sinsalo scored second-period goals at Philadelphia to give the Flyers their second win in a row.

The win moved the Flyers past Pittsburgh and out of last place in the Patrick Division.

Although he was the loser, Mike Liut, playing goal for the first time since undergoing knee surgery in December, was superb. He stopped 32 shots.
