‘CoHousing’ Authors Will Speak in Santa Monica; Workshop Set

Kathryn McCamant and Charles Durrett, co-authors of “CoHousing: a Contemporary Approach to Housing Ourselves,” will address a meeting Feb. 23, at 8 p.m., at the Bayview Plaza Holiday Inn in Santa Monica.

It will be followed by a two-day workshop on Feb. 24 and 25 in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles. Theme of these sessions is “Getting Started in CoHousing.”

The workshop fee is $115 for individuals and $175 for pairs (living in the same household). It includes a yearlong membership in the sponsoring organization, the nonprofit Cooperative Resources and Services Project and its Shared Housing Network.
